The story of Sabores do Campo begins long before the restaurant existed as we know it today. It begins with Sérgio Silva, born in Alcochete, finding his path in the municipality of Palmela, where he has been building his journey over the past few years.
His contact with the restaurant world started very early. At the age of 10, Sérgio was already helping behind a counter at a Grupo Recreativo run by his parents. It was in that family environment, surrounded by people, work and sharing, that his passion was born - for hospitality, for service, and for creating special moments at the table.
As the years went by, he decided to take his first independent steps with a food truck/bar, showing up at fairs, popular festivals and private events. In parallel, he also began to develop catering services, winning over clients through dedication, closeness and quality.
In 2017, the opportunity came to take over Sabores do Campo, beginning a new professional chapter. In the early days, the restaurant offered a traditional menu, but it was during the pandemic that a different vision was born. Sérgio decided to reinvent the concept and bet on selected, dry-aged meats - elevating the dining experience and giving the space its own distinctive identity.
This shift turned out to be a real success and allowed Sabores do Campo to be consolidated as a reference for anyone looking for quality, authenticity and a memorable experience. Despite the growth and evolution, one thing has never changed: the family spirit. At Sabores do Campo, we believe a restaurant goes well beyond the food. It's a place of gatherings, celebrations and memories. Here, team and guests are treated as family - with closeness, respect and a genuine sense of belonging.
Today, Sérgio Silva carries the same enthusiasm that has been with him since childhood, always with new ideas and the ambition to keep growing this house - without ever losing what makes it special: its family essence.
